Buy and Sell
Virtuals Terminal support buying and selling only NOT Graduated Agents.
Users can Buy and Sell Agents using the Buy and Sell Buttons in New Agents, About to Graduate and Portfolio.
Clicking on the buttons will open alternatively a Buy Modal or a Sell modal, specular between each other.
In the Trade Modal users can select the amount to buy or sell with slider or buttons.
When a user click the Buy (or Sell) button, the app checks for existing approvals for the user wallet, for $VIRTUALS or the token to be sold in case of Sell Transaction, to the address: 0x8292b43ab73efac11faf357419c38acf448202c5.
If the allowance is not enough, the User is prompted to sign an approval transaction first and the buy or sell transaction immediately after.
If the allowance is enough, the User is prompted to sign the buy or sell transaction with no approval step.
Buy and sell transactions happens ONLY through the Official Virtuals router contract: 0xf66dea7b3e897cd44a5a231c61b6b4423d613259.
This flow mirrors exactly app.virtuals.io functioning and Virtuals Terminal acts as an alternative UI to interact with Virtuals Contracts.
For buy and sell transaction, the modal provides quick link to basescan after confirmation.
Only for buys initiated in Vscope page, if users activated the Quick Buy button and inputted a Quick Buy Amount, clicking on buy will trigger the Buy flow without opening the modal.
